Biotest Hycon RCS Plus Air Sampler

• The RCS PLUS Centrifugal Air Samplers have a flow rate of 50 L/min.  The air is drawn in through the top of the instrument and then exits the unit through exhaust ports. Its uni-directional air flow minimizes turbulence, permitting sampling in laminar flow systems or near critical filling lines. The sample volume, programmable between 1 and 1000 liters (1m3) of air, is accurately measured and calibrated. The unit operates on a rechargeable 7.2V battery pack. Security features alert the user if the collection cycle has stopped prematurely because of a low battery or failure of the rotor to operate properly. It has autoclavable parts which facilitates use in aseptic areas. Sterile sleeves are also available for sterile wrapping of the RCS PLUS to protect against transmission of contaminants.
